White Paper – Distributed Compliance Ledger
The Connectivity Standards Alliance Distributed Compliance Ledger (DCL) is an industry-wide initiative to provide a cryptographically secure distributed ledger of certified IoT devices and their roots of trust, without one company or an entity in charge of the ledger. By using an underlying permissioned blockchain framework, the DCL benefits from a multi-node network, individually signed transactions using pre-approved keys, with global Alliance members participating to drive the consensus protocol to ensure majority approval.
