nRF52833 Zigbee 3.0 for nRF Connect SDK

nRF52833 Zigbee 3.0 for nRF Connect SDK (NCS) platform is a combination of the nRF52833, a general-purpose multiprotocol System-on-Chip supporting Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth mesh and NFC, and the DSR ZBOSS v3.11 stack. The nRF52833 Zigbee 3.0 platform is developed according to the latest R22 Zigbee PRO specification and is designed to deliver the best cost-performance combination for Zigbee PRO and Zigbee 3.0 products.

The nRF52833 is qualified for operation at an extended temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. It is the 5th addition to the industry leading nRF52 Series and is built around a 64 MHz Arm Cortex-M4 with FPU, and has 512 KB flash and 128 KB RAM memory available for higher value applications.

The extended 105°C temperature qualification, coupled with a generous amount of memory and dynamic multiprotocol support ensures the nRF52833 is an ideal device for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, including professional lighting and asset tracking. A 1:4 RAM to Flash ratio and +8 dBm output power make the nRF52833 suitable for advanced wearables or smart home applications where robust coverage is important.

nRF Connect SDK offers developers an extensible framework for building size-optimized software for memory-constrained devices as well as powerful and complex software for more advanced devices and applications. It integrates the Zephyr RTOS and a wide range of samples, application protocols, protocol stacks, libraries and hardware drivers. For developing Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread and Zigbee products, the nRF Connect SDK contains all needed software, including protocol stacks.
