Matter
NXP 88MW32X
By NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V.
NXP’s Matter with Wi-Fi edge development platform which streamlines design and enablement for Matter-enabled smart home and smart building devices, MW320/322 Wi-Fi microcontroller system-on-chip (SoC) is a single-chip SoC with 1×1 802.11n Wi-Fi and full-featured Cortex-M4F microcontroller that supports Matter natively. The SoC includes 512kB SRAM and a flash controller to enable executing code from external QSPI Flash. The SoC also enables easy interfacing to sensors, actuators, and other components via a full set of I/O interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, I2S, PWM, ADC, DAC, and 50 GPIOs are available. The development platform kit includes a set of IO headers that bring out these interfaces to connect to external sensor or other peripheral boards. NXP has also enabled MW320/MW322 to be supported by the unified MCUXpresso development environment which further optimizes and enables rapid development of Matter-based capabilities on all NXP microcontrollers and wireless microcontrollers.
