For Immediate Release:
New 12V Wireless Dimming Control for LED DriversFrom Thomas Research Products
ELGIN, ILLINOIS April 25, 2017— Thomas Research Products has introduced new low voltage versions of its TCM Modules for LED drivers. The 12V modules provide OEMs a wireless dimming control option. Thomas Research Products manufactures complete LED power and control solutions for OEMs and retrofitters.
The TCM-LV series of control modules are designed to operate on the 12V auxiliary leads on TRP’s LED drivers in LED luminaires. These UL Listed modules provide wireless 0-10V dimming control using standard protocols. They are Class 2 devices.
Two 12V models are available. The TCM-ZBLV is certified to both the zigbee Home Automation and Daintree ControlScope standards. This model is designed for use with networked input devices and management. A TCM-RFLV model is also available, featuring a cordless RF remote accessory for directly controlling on/off switching and dimming of up to four groups of TCM controls.
The TCM-LV™s small case design is easily mounted in most luminaires and is IP50 dust rated. It is also Plenum Rated (UL2043) for use in ceiling spaces. TRP™s existing line voltage TCM modules are now Plenum Rated as well.
TRP’s controls provide simple OEM options for energy saving requirements and user comfort. “Easy installation” means these modules don™t require running new wires or relay panels to configure. By utilizing open standards such as zigbee and ControlScope, these controls provide lighting manufacturers freedom from being bound to a proprietary system.
See TCM-LV controls in booth 1325 at LightFair International in Philadelphia, May 9-11. Find information on the TRP website now. Availability begins 2Q2017. Follow the company on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates
